| In the “but weird food is always fun!” category, I present to you some findings from a random trip to one of the Asian shops in Hakaniemi!
Special quality rice shrimp crackers. If you want to know what those were like, think about the hardness of uncooked rice grains and then apply that to a coin sized cracker about as thick as two potato chips stuck together and shrimp flavoured – and you have yourself these special quality rice shrimp crackers. They were amazing hard, I still wonder how I made it through the packet with all of my teeth intact, but so fun to munch on.
The award for the most useless extra packaging goes to these crackers… outter box, inner plastic tray (and anti-humidity packet thing) and then each of the crackers individually packed. Crazy stuff.
Curiosity killed the cat, this coconut did not kill me though. Its quality was about as great as the quality of the print on the packaging. Later on I found another brand at a different shop, whole different story!
