One of the greatest things about growing up and going to school in different countries is that now I know random bits and pieces of history from multiple countries.
I remember learning all about Napoleon and visiting the Invalides back in the early 90s. It was kind of boring, you can’t actually see any of the bones. Still, walking by the other day I almost became nostalgic, almost. On a random note I remember the countless visit to Boston Common for social studies class… Did you know that the Massachusetts official state muffin is the corn muffin? Useful fact of the century, I know. Anyone has any cool official facts or trivia to share? |
