Where is Gali?

A little clone of the content of my LJ, just in case it ever goes down for good.

Ah. Korea. Can I go back right now?

Three days till Montreal and that means that it’s time to finish posting some photos related to Korea. It’s silly but if I didn’t have to be in Canada soon I’d be definitely planning a trip somewhere in Korea or China or Japan or Singapore or somewhere over there.

Looking back over these Diana Mini photos has made me a bit nostalgic. Sniff.

Hi, Gali! I know you mentioned Korea before, but I’d like to hear more about your time there. Did you live there? Teach English? What?

Did I tell you I lived in Japan for a year, teaching English? I loved it and only wish I’d gone to live abroad when I was your age.

I was just visiting Korea for a couple of weeks. All my entries about that trip can be found here. One day I’ll make a special tag for all my trips, one day… but at least the ones about Korea are all labeled correctly.

I don’t know why but something like teaching English abroad has never appealed to me. I probably could get the right qualifications and I do have all those TOEFL and TOEIC and Cambridge tests to prove that I know how to speak and write English but it would really be a waste of time on my personal career. Moreover I doubt I could live in Korea for a long time because of the pollution, I’ve gotten too used to the air in Finland… (and to some degree in Marseille, the house is not in the city center and on a hill, so I rarely have to face smog)
