So… Easter is it?
I just learned that the shops will be opened tomorrow but not the whole day, then on Friday they’ll be closed, open a couple of hours on Saturday, closed on Sunday and open a couple of hours on Monday (but only the small ones). That pretty much means I have to plan ahead for the food and I hate that. Meh…
I still don’t know what the open hours for the lab/uni are though. I do hope that it’s a three day weekend, that would be totally awesome.

I have a meeting scheduled on Friday so unless three people totally missed the fact that it’s a day off on Friday, well it means coming in for work.
But still, with the weather that we’ve had this week, I doubt I could have gone and done much sightseeing/visiting stuff anyway.
You could ask them if they’ve noticed it’s Good Friday. I bet they haven’t

And it’s strange you don’t have Friday off. Everyone has Friday off! Over here, no free Monday though.

I still hope someone messed up and we have Friday off. I do hope so. And I do hope they won’t come and tell me that Monday isn’t a holiday either. That would totally blow, wouldn’t it? Like no holidays at all…

My cousin is going to a football camp on Friday. My aunt was very amused by that – she said she never knew football was such a heathen sport! (: Yeeees.
I hope they change their minds about the Friday. Seriously! It’s a free day! *points at any calendar that isn’t her own, as that shows no holidays at all* Are you going to ask about that Friday thing? My ex-boss often conveniently tried to forget about national holidays. Fun times!

I can’t say that anyone can rob me of my days off here, it’s not like a 9 to 5 job, thank god, I would never be able to do that. If I need an hour to do this or that, it’s ok, like yesterday I went to open a new bank account at 3pm. It’s just one of those perks of the job… but then you go home and sometimes you’re awake in the middle of the night thinking “gosh, why isn’t it working’ or ‘I should try this or that’ and you turn up at the lab at 8am on a Sunday to test your theory.
But just ethically I like to turn up at a reasonable hour on most working days, so you know, no one can say that the project failed because I didn’t put enough work in or something.
